About Ann Grier

Experience

Prior to forming her own firm in 2012, Ann gained invaluable experience
in the Atlanta legal and business communities over the course of 25 years.

With seventeen years of experience at a well-established general practice law firm where she was a partner for 10 years, Ann has advised clients in a variety of personal and business matters including estate planning, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution. Her experience includes bench and jury trials in state and federal courts representing clients in commercial contracts, employment discrimination, medical malpractice, and product liability cases.

Ann has also spent valuable time in-house with a large international technology company. There she advised company executives on contract negotiations, business deals, risk analysis, and warranty claims.

More recently, Ann has served as counsel advising corporations and individuals in contract negotiation and fiduciary matters. In 2012, she formed her own firm and began her focus on estate planning and general contract law. She enjoys assisting individuals and families determine the appropriate ownership structure for their assets and prepare for unexpected changes in circumstances so that loved ones will be well cared for.
In 2001, Ann followed through on a personal aspiration to return to Europe, where she lived and worked for a year after college. She chose a year-long sabbatical in Bologna, Italy, where she honed her Italian, taught English and explored the breathtaking beauty of one of the world’s most fascinating countries.

Ann is an honors graduate of the University of Georgia Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, and of its Lumpkin School of Law, where she served as Notes Editor on the Georgia Law Review.
